Morton M. Woolley, M.D., and E. Jane Woolley, M.D., known to their friends as Mort and Jane, have been friends of Loma Linda University Children's Hospital for many years. Mort encouraged Loma Linda physicians and administrators to open the facility, and Jane co-founded—with her friend Shirley Pettis—the Big Hearts for Little Hearts Desert Guild to raise money and awareness.
