Support Community Service, Research, and Programs
The Institute for Community Partnerships (ICP) and Community-Academic Partners in Service (CAPS) are central to Loma Linda University Health's commitment to community engagement. We work with our community rather than just in it, engaging people in research and education, fostering connections through service learning, and meeting critical needs through a variety of free and low-cost programs.
Your support ensures we can continue to do what it takes to uplift our community, such as:
- Give a family in San Bernardino a garden plot with access to seeds, tools, garden workshops, and more for a year.
- Accept a high school student to our CAPS Discovery program, nurturing the next generation of healthcare providers.
- Pay room and board for a Native American student attending the Discovery program for two weeks. Fund an MCAT prep class for a local pre-med student to increase their chance of being accepted to medical school.
- Cover NCLS costs for one of our pipeline nursing students to take the nursing boards, so they can focus on studying and not on how they’ll pay for the exam.
Join us and help our community thrive.
